Jan is responsible for the general operations of the company and guides the company’s vision. She is heavily involved involved in strategy, marketing, technology and management development at all levels of the company.

Jan began her career in marketing research and advertising sales. She later joined Reuben H. Donnelley, where, as a Senior Field Manager in the Southern Region, she became responsible for Southern Bell’s largest and most important deliveries: Atlanta, Miami, Charleston, Savannah and Charlotte.

In 1985, Jan became a co-founder of Market Distribution Specialists. During the company’s early years, she personally managed deliveries in Georgia, Texas, Virginia, Tennessee and California.

As the company grew, Jan took on a more corporate role. She was instrumental in company milestones including the development of the company's proprietary routing, mapping, and verification systems.

Jan received numerous scholastic awards during her studies at Tennessee Wesleyan College and was a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society
